Omnibus supplemental bills head to floor

Both the House and Senate are expected to take up the omnibus supplemental budget bill on the floor today. The House and Senate bills include the proposed $10.5 million reduction to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Also this week, the contract ratification bill is making its way through the committee process; it will be heard in Senate Finance this morning and the House State Government Finance Division Tuesday. Different this week is the meeting time for the House Higher Education and Workforce Development Finance and Policy Division. The committee will be meeting in the morning Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week (see schedule below).
