Budget bills continue to move; House DFL to go on listening tour

The Senate goes into session at 10:00 a.m. today and is expected to take up the higher education bill. The House is scheduled to take up the higher education bill on the floor tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.

Also related to the budget, the House DFL caucus is planning a 25-city budget listening tour over the next two weeks. The cities on the tour include: Moorhead, Fergus Falls, Thief River Falls, Alexandria, East Grand Forks, Bemidji, Grand Rapids, St. Cloud, Little Falls, Brainerd, Albert Lea, Austin, Rochester, Worthington, Marshall, Willmar, Edina, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Coon Rapids, Blaine, Woodbury, Stillwater, Burnsville, Eagan, and Cottage Grove.
